La Joyita is a unique, secure, hand crafted cabin facing south-west overlooking the Pacific ocean. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or a vacation on your own. The cabina allows you privacy and independence providing everything necessary to cook, shower, sleep and play as your schedule or desires may wish. The town of Aqujitas is a 20 minute walk away and a shorter drive should you arrive with a vehicle. The town has at the moment of writing, two general stores and a number of quaint local restaurants.
Our cabina is connected with free wifi for our guests and includes a fenced yard with a parking spot. The parking is just outside a bedroom window for your peace of mind should you arrive with a vehicle.
Fully equipped with a fridge/ freezer, stove top and oven, this beautiful, well-maintained, one bedroom/one bathroom cabin can sleep 1-4 people. The bedroom features a main double bed with a single pullout underneath. We also have a cot if necessary.
Made using locally grown, legally cultivated wood it resembles a hardwood jewelry box and boasts a beautiful, three piece custom bathroom. As well, on demand hot water is plumbed into all faucets.
La Joyita features a covered porch overlooking the sea. A hammock occupies one side and a table and chairs the other, allowing you to swing in the shade and enjoy your meals al fresco, while being protected from the elements. The rental is situated in a lovely spot and we are proud to offer you a functional home in a tropical setting, giving you a comfortable domain while away on vacation.
La Joyita is located on the calmest, nicest swimming beach in the bay. A hard-packed, gently sloping sand beach awaits mere steps away where the warm Pacific waters are the perfect place to swim on a sunny Costa Rican day. The waves vary from calm to surf ready depending on the season and the lunar cycle. 
After a day of adventure in the rainforest there is nothing quite like watching the sun set beside Caño Island while swaying gently in a hammock on the front porch.
